What it is

Radiofrequency microneedling is performed across the scalp, creating fine channels while delivering energy at a controlled depth to stimulate collagen and improve blood flow at the level of the follicle. A hair specific exosome preparation is then applied to the treated scalp. It combines plant derived exosomes from Panax ginseng and edelweiss with copper peptides, polynucleotides, biotin, niacinamide, panthenol and the minerals involved in the hair cycle. The intention is to thicken hair and improve the condition of the scalp it grows from. The preparation is applied to the scalp. It is not injected.

Who it is for

Suitable if you have noticed thinning, increased shedding or a loss of density, and want a non surgical approach. An assessment is needed first, because hair loss has several different causes and not all respond to the same treatment. Not suitable if you are pregnant, have an active scalp infection, or have a pacemaker or another implanted electrical device.

What to expect

Topical anaesthetic is applied to the scalp and left to work. The handpiece is passed across the treatment area, then the exosome preparation is applied. Expect scalp redness and tenderness for twenty four to forty eight hours. Hair can be washed gently after the period your practitioner advises.

Results

Hair growth is slow by nature, so change is assessed across a course over several months rather than between individual sessions. Photographic comparison at set intervals is the only reliable way to judge progress, and we recommend it from the outset.
