What it is

These treatments improve the condition of the skin itself rather than adding volume to it. Each combines hyaluronic acid with a peptide complex chosen for the concern, which is what separates them from a straightforward skin booster. Meso-Wharton P199 is built around the P199 peptide complex, stimulating fibroblast activity to support collagen and elastin synthesis and improve skin density and firmness. Meso-Xanthin F199 is built around the F199 antioxidant complex, supporting skin metabolism and microcirculation for smoother, more even tone. MesoSculpt C71 uses the LipoBlock XP2 complex with Hexapeptide-17 to address stubborn fat deposits in the face while supporting microcirculation and lymphatic drainage. MesoEye C71 is formulated for the delicate area around the eyes, pairing a C71 peptide complex with actives that support lymphatic flow and microcirculation to address dark circles, puffiness and fine lines.

Who it is for

Suitable if you want to improve skin quality, contour or the area around the eyes without adding volume. Which formulation is used depends on the concern, and more than one may appear in a plan. Not suitable if you have a history of severe allergy or anaphylaxis, previous hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid, a bleeding disorder, or an active autoimmune condition. Where an autoimmune condition is in remission, treatment may still be possible following assessment.

What to expect

A topical preparation is applied to the skin first and very fine needles are used, so most people find treatment comfortable. It takes around fifteen to twenty minutes depending on the area and the formulation. Afterwards mild redness, slight swelling, temporary itching and soreness at the injection points are normal, and usually settle within one to three days.

Results

Initial change is usually visible three to five days after treatment, once any immediate reaction has settled, and continues to develop as the skin responds. Because each formulation works on a different concern, what improves depends on which was used and why.
