Hyaluronic acid that spreads through the skin to hydrate and remodel it, improving firmness without changing the contours of your face.

Profhilo is not a filler. It carries a high concentration of hyaluronic acid that spreads through the tissue rather than holding a shape, hydrating the skin and prompting it to produce collagen and elastin. The result is an improvement in the quality and firmness of the skin without altering the contours of the face. It is placed at a small number of set points, from which it disperses.
Suitable if your concern is skin quality, hydration and firmness rather than volume, and you want a result nobody can point to. Not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or where there is active infection in the area.
Avoid aspirin, anti inflammatories, blood thinning supplements, ginkgo, garlic, flax and cod liver oil and vitamins A and E for a week beforehand. Arrive with clean skin, no make up and no self tan, and do not wax or use depilatory creams in the area for four weeks before. Small raised areas at the injection points are normal and settle within hours. Afterwards avoid strenuous activity, anti inflammatories and alcohol for twenty four hours, keep away from heat and strong sun for a day, and avoid saunas, steam and very cold exposure for two weeks. Leave other facial treatments for a week.
The effect is deliberately gradual and is not visible immediately. Most people notice the change a few weeks after treatment as collagen production responds, and it continues to develop from there. Use broad spectrum SPF30 or higher throughout.
How long results last Around six months, varying by individual
