What it is
Mesotherapy delivers a prescribed blend through a series of very fine injections into the mesoderm, the middle layer of the skin. Working at that depth places active ingredients where they are needed rather than relying on them passing through the surface. The blend is chosen for the concern in front of us, and we hold a wide range of formulations so that hydration, brightness, firmness, congestion and redness can each be addressed differently.
Who it is for
Suitable for most skin types and for concerns ranging from dehydration and dullness to congestion and redness. Not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or where there is active infection in the area. The composition of some blends requires clinical review before treatment.
What to expect
Avoid fish oil, aspirin, ibuprofen and alcohol for a few days beforehand, as each increases the chance of bruising. Treatment involves a series of small injections across the area and most people find it easily tolerated. Afterwards small marks and slight swelling are normal and settle within a day. Keep away from sun, sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms and other heat for twenty four hours, and leave microdermabrasion, microneedling and deeper peels for five to seven days.
