What it is
Forever Clear uses three wavelengths in sequence. Blue light at 420 nanometres targets the bacteria involved in acne. Yellow light calms the inflammation and redness that comes with it. Infrared then supports the skin's own repair. Together they help rebalance how the oil glands behave. It works without creams, antibiotics or oral medication, which suits people who have not tolerated those well.
Who it is for
Suitable if you have active breakouts, congestion or the redness that accompanies them, and want an approach that does not rely on medication. Tell us if you have taken Accutane in the last six months, and about any medication or condition affecting light sensitivity or healing.
What to expect
Your eyes are shielded and you will feel warmth as each wavelength is delivered. Afterwards expect redness and a mild sunburn sensation that usually settles within one to four hours. A cold compress helps in the first few hours. You can wear make up straight away provided the skin is intact. Keep to lukewarm water, avoid exfoliating acids, acne creams, scented products and vigorous scrubbing until sensitivity has passed, and avoid heavy sweating.
Results
Most people need at least two sessions before they see a clear difference. A course typically runs one to two sessions a week for four weeks or until the skin is clear, and the improvement can hold for up to six months. Avoid sun exposure for seven to fourteen days afterwards and use SPF30 or higher, reapplied every two hours.
